Family Art & Logic Adventure – A Free Halifax Community Event for Kids and Families
Looking for a fun and creative way to spend your Sunday morning in Halifax? Join us at Tyler Sampson Park in West Bedford on Sunday, August 17 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for the Family Art & Logic Adventure — a free community event designed for kids aged 5–12 and their families.
This special event brings together the joy of art, the challenge of problem-solving, and the excitement of winning prizes. It’s a perfect way to spend quality time outdoors while encouraging children’s creativity and critical thinking skills.
🎨 Group Painting – “Save Water, Save Life”
In the group painting session, children will work together on a large community artwork that focuses on drought awareness and water conservation. This collaborative art activity is not only fun but also teaches kids about the importance of protecting our planet’s most precious resource. With guidance from the iCreat Learning Center team, every child will get to add their unique touch to the piece.
🧠 Logic Adventure Game – 10 Challenge Stations
After painting, kids can explore 10 exciting logic challenge stations. Each station offers a unique puzzle or problem to solve — from memory games to pattern recognition tasks. For every station completed, children will earn a stamp on their event card. The more stamps they collect, the bigger the rewards!
🏆 Prizes & Fun for the Whole Family
Different stamp combinations unlock different prizes, making the game both rewarding and motivating. Parents and guardians can join in the fun, cheer on their kids, and enjoy a relaxed morning in the park.
